What we use
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Because ours are all strictly necessary (they make signing in, booking and paying work, and keep them secure), the law doesn’t require us to ask for your consent, and there’s no cookie banner to click through. Just reading our website sets no cookies at all.
| Cookie | What it’s for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| dc10_client | Keeps you signed in after you open a link we’ve texted you, so you can see and manage your appointments. | Up to 30 days (ends after 7 days unused, or when you sign out) |
| dc10_otp | Links the sign-in code we text you to this browser while you enter it. | 10 minutes |
| dc10_vm | Remembers that you’ve confirmed your mobile number while you finish a booking. | 30 minutes |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Set by Stripe, our payment provider, only on the step where you save a card. Used to prevent fraud. | 1 year and 30 minutes |
| dc10_session | Keeps salon staff signed in to the salon system. Not set for clients. | Until sign-out, at most 30 days |
| dc10_device | Recognises a staff member’s device so we can warn them about sign-ins from somewhere new. Not set for clients. | 13 months |
On the live site our own cookie names start with “__Host-”, a browser security feature that stops other sites setting them.
Third parties
The map on our contact page only loads from Google if you choose to show it. If you do, Google may set its own cookies under its cookie policy. Links to Facebook or Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, you can still read the website and call us to book, but online booking and your account page won’t work.
For more about how we handle your information, see our privacy policy.
